On Saturday June 22, 2019, Gabrielle Abernethy of Earth and Pine led staff from the Canmore Museum and CRESRC and a volunteer from MRU on a Roving Scientist Training hike up to Grassi Lakes. Weather was fine. Gabrielle later gave an hour talk at the Canmore Council Chambers on the geology of the local area. We ended with a training video regarding bear spray. We are all now Ready for Roving!
