The Earth Science for Society event takes place in the Big Four building at the Stampede grounds in Calgary over 3 days March 19 – 21, 2017 (www.esfscanada.ca). On Sunday, the event was open to the general public. Approximately 900 people attended. On Monday and Tuesday, the event involved some 1200 grade 7 – 9 students who were bussed in to the Big Four building for ~2 hour sessions. There were 30 interactive booths for the students to interact with.
