A total of about 3100 people attended the Earth Science for Society event at the Big 4 building on the Stampede grounds in Calgary on March 17 – 19, 2019. Sunday afternoon and Monday evening was for the general public and youth groups such as Scouts, Girl Guides, etc. and Monday and Tuesday was for students in grades 3 and 7-9. There were 34 booths this year with hands-on activities. And of course there were almost 100 volunteers to run the event and to guide the students from venue to venue. Always a great event!

Every year CRESRC has a booth at the ESfS event. There are about 40 industry/societies booths for public and students to learn about geoscience.
