The Earth Science for Society (www.ESFSCanada.com) event was held in Calgary at the Big Four building on March 13 – 15, 2016. A total of 2200 visitors including ~1500 grade 7 – 9 students visited the event. 22 groups including CRESRC presented different aspects of the geosciences to the general public – everything from geology to astronomy to nuclear energy. It was a fabulous opportunity to engage with students.
