The Canmore Museum and Geoscience Centre and the Canadian Rockies Earth Science Resource Centre (CRESRC) partnered to present the 2nd Canmore Science Odyssey Event on May 10 & 11. On Friday May 10, approximately 200 grade 7 students from the local schools were guided to a number of venues to experience a selection of science topics. This was modelled after the annual Earth Science for Society event at the Big 4 Building in March (~3,000 attendees). On Saturday there was an Open House from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the same venues. Approximately 100 families/general public visited.
