Rick manned CRESRC’s booth at APEGA’s Science Olympics at the Canada Olympic Park (COP) on Saturday May 4, 2019 from ~9:00am to 6:00pm. The day was divided into 3 projects/competitions for students from grades 1 – 6, 7-9 and 10-12. There were about 6 booths in the exhibit area where students could visit when they weren’t competing in science-related projects. Approximately 80 students in the Grade 1 -6 sessions visited the CRESRC booth. A relatively smaller number of grade 7-9 and 10-12 students visited the booth (~20). A very successful day interacting with ~100 students and their parents.
