The 2018 ESfS event takes place in the Big Four building at the Stampede grounds in Calgary over 3 days March 18 – 20 (www.esfscanada.ca). This year the event was open to the general public on Sunday (11:30am – 5:00pm) and Monday evening (6:00pm, – 9:00pm). On Monday and Tuesday, the event involved grade 3 and grades 7 – 9 students who were bussed in for ~2 hour sessions. Approximately 2500 people attended the event. There were 39 interactive booths for the students to interact with. Rick was on the Organizing Committee of the event and CRESRC had their “Petroleum Exploration Cycle” booth at the event.
