On March 5, 2020, Rick gave an hour and a half geoscience presentation to about 60 grade 7 students at Oilfields School in Black Diamond, Alberta. Rick stayed on over the lunch period to interact with some of the more interested students. Due to a lot of interaction with the students during the presentation, Rick didn’t quite finish and was asked to come again. Unfortunately, COVID-19 closed the school a week later so that didn’t happen. Maybe next year!
